Traveling from Illighadad, a secluded commune in central Niger, far off in the scrubland deserts at the edge of the Sahara, MATATU invites you to an evening of film and performance with the Tuareg band, Les Filles de Illighadad. The nomadic territory is positioned within the open desert, supporting hundreds of pastoral families, living with and among their herds, as their families have done for centuries.

The performance follows a screening of 'A Story of Sahel Sounds,' introduced by the label founder Christopher Kirkley. Guests for the film screening receive a commemorative 18x24 velvet touch tour poster printed on high-quality card stock. The screening is limited to (60) guests.
