Focusing on Geronimo’s time of service in Vietnam in 1971 and chronicled to the present, the show includes paintings, collage, assemblage, published articles, poems and a multi-media slide projection to music that tell the detailed story, not only of his experience as an infantry soldier, but also his perspective as a proud American patriot, political activist and of his self-transformation into community griot and healer.  Enraptured in metaphor, Trauma Cycle details the psychological effects of war and documents a movement towards inner-peace and coping.

Show closing:  Sunday December 15, at Spirithaus Gallery- 2217 Adeline St. West Oakland 4pm, with artist conversation and reception to follow including refreshments and live jam session, bring your instrument!!
